I have counseled children and youth (K-12), college students, young professionals, couples and families. A field in which I am passionate is child abuse prevention and served as a counselor, group facilitator, and agency director at a community-based child abuse prevention agency. I value inclusive, multicultural, and trauma-informed approaches which I integrate with Rationale Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Counseling, and Faith/Spirituality Integration. Hi! My name is Kirstin Spillman  and I am a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA) and a national certified counselor with a certificate in addiction. I view therapy from a family systems and solution focused perspective while also incorporating EMDR trauma therapy. I have counseled individuals and couples across the lifespan, and I have experience working with diverse populations such as the Kelly Autism Program, middle and college age students, and the addiction population. I enjoy working with clients on areas such as trauma, personal growth, substance abuse, and wellness. Hello! My name is Lauren Downey and I possess a doctorate degree in counselor education. I am also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor (LPCC-S) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). My passion for clinical counseling and supervision runs deep.  As the owner/director of TICC and as a mental health provider, I have worked in various settings that have included intensive in-home, outpatient, and private practice counseling settings. Counseling men, women, and children who have experienced traumatic life event(s) as well as other mental health disorders is the most rewarding aspect of my job and I greatly enjoy helping people one second, one minute, and one hour at a time.
