Crisis Support Resources
The Trauma Informed Counseling Center is an outpatient group private practice which operates Monday through Friday 9am-5pm and having a one-hour lunch between 12-1pm. Our clinicians operate with a variety of schedule and availability. As such, while on occasion current clients may be able to schedule with their present clinician an unplanned Crisis Support session, this option may not always be available for every clinician or every moment a crisis arises. TICC wishes to be as supportive as possible, so in such cases when an unplanned Crisis Support session cannot be scheduled, we have compiled below some transitional and crisis support resources. This list is not comprehensive and may not list a resource in your area. If you do not find a resource in your area, it is recommended to visit your nearest emergency hospital where you may be assessed and referred to an appropriate crisis resource in your area.
For Risk of Imminent Harm during a Crisis
Call 911 in the event of an escalated mental health crisis.

If the symptoms or experiences have escalated so that a mental health crisis has developed, it is essential to increase your safety as effectively and quickly as possible. This may require you to collaborate with your local law enforcement to achieve this. The National Alliance on Mental Illness has provided a guide for Calling 911 and Talking with the Police during a mental health crisis to support yourself or for someone you care.
