The Trauma Informed Counseling Center offers dynamic, trauma-informed professional development designed to support growth, sustainability, and excellence in both clinical and educational practice. Our on-demand, self-paced courses equip participants with a deeper understanding of how trauma impacts individuals across systems and settings.

TICC provides high-quality clinical supervision grounded in ethics, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed care. Our supervision offerings support emerging and licensed clinicians in strengthening clinical skills, professional identity, and confidence, while promoting reflective practice and long-term professional success.
Clinical Supervision
Receive on-demand training through our self-paced courses designed by TICC's Founder and Clinical Operations Director, Dr. Lauren Downey. These courses are developed through a trauma-informed lens so that upon completion of the course participants will have greater insight into the role of trauma among various contexts. Select courses have been approved by the Kentucky Department of Education to receive EILA credits for Kentucky instructional leaders and educators. Select courses have been approved by the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors to receive Continuing Education credits for Kentucky professional counselors (LPCC, LPCA).
