Clinician
Emmy Greene, MRC, LPCC, EMDR, is a trauma specialist dedicated to helping clients transform pain into empowerment. She has extensive experience working with all traumas, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, body dysmorphic disorder, OSFED, and orthorexia), and substance use, guiding clients toward lasting change.
With over 300+ clients treated using EMDR, Emmy brings advanced clinical experience in reprocessing trauma and shifting negative core beliefs at their root. She integrates EMDR with IFS, attachment theory, and evidence-based approaches such as TF-CBT, ACT, and DBT, while incorporating nervous system regulation through polyvagal-informed care. Emmy aims for clients to leave each session with clarity, hope, and empowerment!
Emmy’s approach is both holistic and deeply personalized; blending structured, evidence-based interventions with a compassionate, human connection. She believes therapy should not be one-size-fits-all and works collaboratively with each client to create a path that feels both effective and meaningful.
She is passionate about advancing trauma-informed care in Kentucky and has presented on EMDR and the nervous system at the Kentucky Counseling Association (KCA) and is a member of IAEDP. Emmy is known for helping clients feel understood while also empowering them to step into meaningful, sustainable change.
